Scope of Union's Mandate 

The Union has a mandate to operate in the northern governorates of the West Bank: Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya, Tubas and Salfit.

Goals and Purposes 

• Supervising the common interests of member societies to help them achieve their goals.

• Establishing new charitable societies, introducing new services and developing the services provided by local charitable societies.

• Coordinating efforts of member societies and division of labor and activities among them to cover all the needs of the local communities.

• Setting up an overall policy for all services of the members societies.

• Collecting data (statistics/studies) pertinent to the societies and supplying them to ministries, agencies and local communities, thus updating them on achievement and changes made.

• Exploring avenues and sources for funding of programs and activities provided by the union.

• Coordinating, encouraging and supporting social voluntary activities.

• Cooperating fully with Palestinian General Federation of Charitable Societies in all its activities.

• Representing the members at the local, national, Arab and international levels.
